A comprehensive document management facility makes it possible to record key documentation in the most appropriate location. Air test results can be located as easily as floor plans, survey photographs and clearance certificates.
Easy access
Being web based AIMS.net can be accessed from any PC with the appropriate web browser installed. If the software is installed on a web server which can be accessed from the internet then AIMS.net can be used by any user with appropriate permissions. Access can be granted to users working from home and on site and even contractors involved in maintenance or project works.
Reduced support costs
AIMS.net is installed on a web server and no installation is required on any client PC. This dramatically reduces the time taken to install the software and to maintain it following commissioning. It also eliminates the need to reinstall software if a PC is replaced or rebuilt.
Using Modus to host the software can reduce support to a single monthly payment with no further input required from a company’s IT department or contractor.
Management reports fast
A wide range of management reports can be produced quickly. Whether it is a report covering the asbestos inventory of a single room or a report giving an overview of all high risk locations within a site they can be produced quickly and easily.
Facilities are also provided to allow users to produce ad hoc reports using their own spreadsheet software.
Wide range of hosting options
AIMS.net can be hosted on a company’s own web server or on a third party service provider. Alternatively Modus offers the service of hosting AIMS.net on one of its own web servers. This reduces the licensing, hosting and support costs to a single monthly payment.
