The Modus approach is to slim the information down to the bare minimum. Inspections can be scheduled and recorded effectively and all data required by law or company policy can be maintained but managers are informed only of those areas where inspections are overdue or problems have been identified. That way you can be sure that all the data has been collected but you need only concern yourself with the problems.
