Robust quality assurance process
The system relies on plant items and outlets being identified by barcodes. This not only reduces the time wasted on site recording data but also provides a robust quality assurance system. Since it is not possible to record data against an outlet on site without first identifying it using its barcode you know that the site operative actually visited the outlet rather than just claiming that they did.
Reduce wasted time
Often a test or inspection take a few moments but recording it can take many times longer. By maximising the use of hand held data recorders operatives are only required to enter information relating to the results of a test or inspection. No time is wasted on site writing down the details of the outlet time and time again.
The data collected on site is downloaded directly to the database so operatives are not wasting time transferring data manually. Not only does this save time but it also reduces the risk of error when transferring data.
